Incentives

Meritorious Students and Position Holders in SSLC/ HSSLC Examination of MBOSE and those securing 90% in aggregate and above in ICSE/ CBSE or ISC/CBSE/Any Equivalent Examination will be given a One Time financial support at the time of admission.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

A student should have passed the 10+2 level or Senior School Certificate Examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University. International students are required to obtain a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level/equivalent examinations for admissions to B.Sc. / B.A subject to the approval of the University.

EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION

Examination and Evaluation shall be conducted according to the Ordinances / Regulations of the North Eastern Hill University.

A student shall be declared successful with 'Honours' if she obtains minimum 30% marks in all compulsory papers, securing minimum 45% marks in the Elective Honours paper in aggregate (all Honours paper taken together from I to VI Semesters).

A student shall be declared successful with 'Simple pass' if she obtains minimum 30% marks in all compulsory papers, securing not less than 33% marks, but less than 45% marks in the Honours Paper in aggregate in all Elective Honours Paper taken together from I to VI Semesters.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

The National Graduate Physics Examination Conducted by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers is held Annually in the College. The College also conducts coaching classes for entering into services, tutorial and remedial classes.
