Lady Keane College Library

Lady Keane College Library, established in 1935 since the inception of the college is well stocked with books; Reference and Text, journals, magazines, newspapers, reading materials for competitive examinations and CD's for use and borrowing by students, teachers and staff. Library being the heart of an institution is a power house of knowledge and support the information needs of all its users. To enrich the library, every year addition of valuable books on varied topics of study are suggested and recommended by different department. Reprography and Internet facilities are made available to the users. The library is automated using Integrated Library Management Software (ILMS) to make access easier. The library services are being automated using the software, which is used for searching, reporting, circulation, OPAC and other functions. Bar-coding is also integrated into the system. The college has a library committee for monitoring all the activities of the library. To promote the culture of using Information and Communication Technology (ICT) as a tool for teaching learning process and to adapt to the new ways of online learning, the links are provided on use of open access e-resources for digital learning.
